Alexis Trojahn, President

Hi y’all! My name is Alexis Trojahn and I’m a senior getting dual degrees in Psychological Sciences and Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences. After graduation, I plan to pursue a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and specialize in children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. Over the Summer I will be working as a research assistant in Dr. Suanda’s Communication and Development Lab, I have also previously worked in Dr. Eigsti’s Connecticut Autism and Language Lab! I am also a former peer advisor in the psychological sciences office, a master coach for the AAC, and I will be the social media coordinator for the UConn Psi Chi chapter for the Fall 2023- Spring 2024. I am very passionate about neurodiversity and helping my peers navigate UConn! In my free time I like to read, exercise, and spend time with my family.

Kim Goldman, Vice President

Hi everyone! My name is Kim Goldman and I’m a junior double majoring in Psychology and HDFS. I’m interest in Clinical Psychology and am excited to begin working with the AAC next year as a peer mentor! This past year, I was involved with Dr. Suanda’s Communication and Development Lab as a research assistant. I also work at the UC Cafes on campus and love making drinks for everyone! In my free time, I love spending time outdoors, seeing live music, and hanging out with my friends. 

Amen Khan, Secretary

Hi everyone, my name is Amen and I’m a junior majoring in Psychological Sciences on a premedical track! I am currently a Health Research Program intern at UConn Health conducting research on substance use disorder and will be joining an abnormal psychology lab in the fall. I am aiming to get more involved in the clinical side of things and learn as much as I can!

Carter Chase, Treasurer

Hi everyone! My name is Carter Chase and I am a junior majoring in psychology. I have worked at the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services in Hartford as an intern in their research division and I am currently a research assistant in the Mental Illness and App Development Lab with Dr. Cruess. I am hoping to pursue a career in clinical psychology. I enjoy spending time outside, watching reality tv, and being with friends.

Rachael Rozier, Social Media Chair

Hi everyone! My name is Rachel Roizer and I am a sophomore majoring in Cognitive Science and minoring in Psychology. I am hoping to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology to conduct evaluations and provide support for children with neurodevelopment disorders. In my free time, I like to read, listen to podcasts, and watch movies. I’m looking forward to Psychology Club this year!
