Hi! My name is Sonata and I’m currently a senior double majoring in Psychological Sciences and Human Development and Family Sciences. I work in the UConn psychological sciences administrative office and am also involved in Dr. Park’s research lab. I currently hold an internship at Perception Programs, the behavioral health center in Storrs where I enjoy working with the young adult population. After graduation, I plan on pursuing a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and want to work with adolescents and emerging adults. I am especially interested in anxiety, stress, addiction, and relationships. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing guitar, martial arts, and cooking!

Hi! My name is Mary Kate and I am a senior majoring in psychology with a minor in human development and family studies. I currently work at Strong Foundations in Vernon, CT using an applied behavioral analysis approach to assist individuals with ASD or other related disabilities. I plan to continue with graduate school to work in the field of clinical psychology as well as therapy and counseling. In my free time you can find me running, hiking, going on road trips, or spending time with friends!

Hi! My name is Lindsay and I’m a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Crime and Justice. I am fascinated by clinical psychology and plan to pursue a Master’s degree post-graduation and become a licensed therapist. This past summer I enjoyed interning with the Connecticut Judicial Branch, which gave me some great first-hand experience in helping fields. Along with being secretary of Psi Chi, I am a student tour guide at the Lodewick Visitors Center and a member of America Reads, a volunteer program where I visit elementary schools and tutor students to improve their literacy skills. I am also a research assistant in the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Lab on campus and love to participate in HuskyThon! In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends.

Hello Everyone! My name is Kiara Bullock Villalobos I'm a PreMed senior double majoring in Biological and Psychological Sciences. I plan to attend medical school to receive my docatorates and pursue a career as an Anesthesiologist or explore somewhere within the specialties of Neurology. I'm very passionate about humanitarian aid and genuinely look forward to contributing to healthcare thorough education and innovative solutions to improve access to it, especially in under resourced countries/communities. I'm a certified Pharmacy Technician in CT and work amongst pharmacists to ensure efficient and accurate distributions of medications to patients. Extracurricular activities I enjoy are creating 3D abstract artwork, roller blading, interior designing, and reading non fiction. One personal accomplishment I look forward to making this year is to learn “the art of eight limbs” Muay Thai!

Hi! My name is Ethel Dvoskin and I am a junior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Sciences. During the Fall 2022 Semester, I will be starting an Early Childhood Development specialization within HDFS. I am currently a research assistant at UConn KIDS, where I am contributing to the research recruitment process and helping to manage a contact database used by labs at UConn interested in child development. After graduation, I hope to complete a graduate program that will help me find a career in improving the health of our youth - either through mental health care, health care, or teaching. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, jogging outside, and painting!
